Weather

The Maldives has a hot and tropical climate. Since these islands are on the equator, the weather is hot and humid all year round. There are two basic seasons: dry and wet. The Dry season is from December to April. You will see little rainfall and longer daylight hours during this season. During the wet season, May through November, a lot more wind and rain is experienced, although temperatures are still warm. The temperature rarely drops below 77 F (25 C), and it averages at 82 F (27.7 C).
